Sadly we have to report the sad news that Sandy Mann, a stalwart of the branch, GMB and the wider trade union movement passed away last month. Sandy served as equalities officer for the branch for a number of years and regularly represented the branch at GMB and ATUC meetings.
Sandys enthusiastic debates and sense of humour will be missed by all who had the privilege of meeting him.
